Starbucks Japan is getting an early start on the gift list. Its Christmas 2026 goods collection, themed “Colours of Holiday,” goes on sale online at 8:00 p.m. on October 30, with in-store sales following on November 2. The palette is red, green, white, and gold, with ribbons and Bearistas doing much of the festive work, and Starbucks Japan says the range is meant to brighten your heart for the holiday season.
The drinkware leads the collection, and several pieces are designed to keep working long after the tree comes down. A glitter red stainless steel bottle (473 millilitres, 5,550 yen) comes in a gift box, and a ceramic canister shaped like a Starbucks cup (3,500 yen) is made for storing coffee beans. A double-walled, heat-resistant glass (355 millilitres, 3,800 yen) hides a red ribbon and swirling gold glitter inside its walls, so every sip gets a little movement. A stacking mug set (4,800 yen) nests neatly for small kitchens, and a cold cup tumbler topped with a Bearista figure (473 millilitres, 4,250 yen) keeps its little passenger firmly in place even when the cup tips.
The Bearista Steals the Show Again
Bearista is everywhere in this collection, and the best piece might be the glass tumbler (473 millilitres, 4,600 yen) where the bear changes colour with whatever you pour. Milk turns it white, black coffee turns it dark, and a latte lands somewhere in between. The full-size Holiday 2026 Bearista (5,500 yen) returns as a plush, and a Bearista keychain set in a gift box (4,500 yen) pairs the bear with a change of clothes and a couple of snowy companions. A cup-shaped pouch with a keychain and mirror (2,600 yen) and a gift-boxed plush ornament set (3,500 yen) round out the smaller gifts, the kind that work well as stocking stuffers or a thank-you for the coffee lover in your life.
Gifts That Come With a Drink Attached
Japan does holiday gifting a little differently, and this collection leans into it. Several items arrive with drink tickets tucked in, so the gift itself becomes an invitation to visit a store together. The Holiday 2026 Mini Cup Gift Red Cup (1,150 yen) is a tiny version of a Starbucks cup in a mint-green bag, small enough to hold paper clips once the drink is gone. The Bearista Message Gift (1,650 yen) works the same way, as does a beverage card shaped like a miniature Christmas tree (900 yen). A food and beverage card (1,100 yen) covers both a bite and a sip. For anyone shopping from afar, the online-only trio of Starbucks Moment candles (3,800 yen each) is worth a look: Refresh, inspired by yuzu citrus and tea; Joy, inspired by Joyful Medley; and Relax, inspired by coffee and spice.
As with most Japan-exclusive releases, this one will be gone when stock runs out, and the most popular pieces tend to go first. If you have a collector on your list, or you are planning a trip to Japan before Christmas, the online sale on October 30 is the moment to set a reminder for. The in-store launch on November 2 gives everyone else a second chance, but the Bearista pieces rarely wait around for it.
