Disney and Starbucks Mint to Be Collection Arrives Online November 6

Disney and Starbucks Mint to Be collection mint tumbler and ceramic mug

Disney and Starbucks are teaming up for the holidays again, and this time the whole collection leans mint. The “Mint to Be” line goes on sale at Disney Store online on Friday, November 6, at 11 a.m. ET, which is 8 a.m. PT. The collection first showed up on the Disney Store site under an “Incoming Holiday Magic” section, and collectors have been watching it since.

The lineup starts with two pieces that carry the whole theme. A mint tumbler wears a holly diamond pattern filled with peppermint Mickeys, Starbucks cups, Cinderella Castle, and a Christmas tree, along with the Starbucks logo and the Walt Disney World “D.” Next to it sits a ceramic mint mug with a dark green ribbon that reads “Mint to be at the Merriest Place on Earth,” decorated with a candy cane, a Mickey ear Santa hat, and a red and green Starbucks cup.

The piece most likely to disappear first is the sparkly pink tumbler. It has green trim top and bottom, the “Mint to be” artwork in the middle, the Starbucks logo on the back, and what looks like a red Starbucks cup topper. That pink tumbler is reported to be a Disney Store exclusive, which only adds to the rush. Rounding out the online lineup are a canvas mint green tote with the key art and a small Starbucks coffee bag charm, plus a reusable cup sleeve in the same holly design.

Here is the twist for anyone planning to shop the drop: the parks got there first. By October 30, the collection had already been spotted at the Emporium at Magic Kingdom and at Disneyland Park, with a slightly wider parks lineup that also includes a journal and a box of surprise straw toppers. Prices spotted in the parks run from $16.99 for the cup sleeves and straw toppers up to $49.99 for a stainless steel tumbler, with the acrylic tumbler and topper at $34.99 and the tote at $29.99. Disney had not listed prices for the online drop when the collection was first previewed, so the parks prices are the best guide for now, and online prices could differ.

If you want the online drop, the usual advice for a Disney Starbucks release applies. Be signed in to Disney Store online a few minutes before 11 a.m. ET, with payment info saved, because these cups tend to sell out fast. If your first choice is gone, it is worth checking back later in the day, since Disney Store sometimes restocks in waves, and a parks release can always follow an online one.

The timing is no accident. The US Starbucks holiday menu arrives in stores on November 5, the day before this drop, so a Peppermint Mocha in one hand and a mint tumbler in the other is very much the plan for the first weekend of the season. Whether you are a Disney collector, a Starbucks cup collector, or happily both, “Mint to Be” is one of those rare collabs where the theme, the colors, and the timing all line up.
