In honor of the Frappuccino’s 30th birthday, Starbucks is launching something new: the Strato™ Frappuccino—a lineup of layered, cold-foam-topped blends that hit U.S. stores nationwide starting July 8, 2025.
The Strato line trades the traditional whipped cream for velvety cold foam, giving each drink a modern twist with smoother texture and a cloud-like finish.
The Flavors:
• Brown Sugar Strato: Coffee blended with brown sugar, topped with brown sugar cold foam and cinnamon.
• Strawberry Matcha Strato: A vivid matcha base with a layer of sweet strawberry foam.
• Salted Caramel Mocha Strato: A mocha Frappuccino crowned with salted caramel cold foam and caramel drizzle.
The name Strato hints at the layered look—like atmospheric stratus clouds—and the drinks are already turning heads online for their striking visuals.
This marks the first time Starbucks has combined its signature cold foam with a Frappuccino. It’s a move that blends nostalgia with newness—and gives baristas a chance to flex their layering skills.
